NUNE YESAYAN ARMENIAN POP STAR TO PERFORM CHARITABLE CONCERTS IN HONOR OF SEPTEMBER 11 TRAGEDY VICTIMSApril 10, 2002 - 23:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Assembly of America has stated its support of the initiative of Nune Yesayan Armenian pop star, who had decided to perform charitable concerts devoted to the memory of the victims of the terrorist acts in New York and Washington. The concert will take place in "Karen Demirchian" sport and culture center in Yerevan May 25-26. The event will coincide with the Armenia-Diaspora Conference to be held in the capital. Armenian officials and high-rank US diplomats are expected to be present at the concert. The funds raised at this concert will assist the victims and survivors of the September 11 attacks.
