ARMENIAN PRESIDENT'S VISIT TO GEORGIA PLANNED JUNE 27

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian president Robert Kocharian will pay a formal visit to Georgia June 27. In the framework of the visit meetings of the Armenian leader with Georgian president Eduard Shevarnadze, foreign minister Irakli Menagarishvili and state minister Avtandil Jobernadze are planned. The parties will discuss the issues of consolidation of the bilateral economic cooperation and the regional security. The subject of conflict settlement in the South Caucasus will be as well broached. According to unofficial information of the Georgian sources, the participants of the negotiations will also view the social situation in the inhabited by Armenians Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia.
