ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO VISIT TAJIKISTAN AND KIRGIZSTAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Robert Kocharian will set off for the countries of Central Asia on official visits at the beginning of April. Upon his arrival in Dushanbe April 2 the Armenian head will visit «Dusti» square and will lay a wreath to the memorial of «National concord and revival of Tajikistan.» After that Presidents Kocharian and Rakhmonov will have a tete-a-tete talk. Then broadened membership negotiations and signing of bilateral agreements will take place. The joint press conference of the heads of the two states will be held the same day. Robert Kocharian will meet with Prime Minister of Tajikistan and the Chairman of the Parliament April 3. The Armenian President will visit the museum of the history of Tajikistan, and ancient Tajik town of Khujant. The Armenian leader and the members of the commission headed by him will leave for Bishkek April 4. The first item in the agenda is the meeting with President of Kirgizstan Askar Akayev. After the conversation between the leaders broadened membership negotiations will take place. Signing a number of documents is planned. Robert Kocharian and Askar Akayev will hold a joint press conference. In the course of the visit the Armenian President will meet with the Kirgiz Prime Minister and the Chairmen of the two chambers of the Kirgiz Parliament. The Armenian President will have a meeting with the representatives of the Armenian diaspora.
