 Cooperation between Armenian and Ukrainian regions has much prospectsOctober 15, 2009 - 17:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 15, NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan received Arsen Avakov, the governor of Kharkov region, Ukraine.Welcoming the guest, Parliament Speaker noted that cooperation between various Armenian and Ukrainian regions was one of the prevalent trends of mutually beneficial partnership. Mr. Abrahamyan reiterated Armenian side's interest in the development of ties, considering that cooperation with Kharkov region has rich history. Then the delegation led by governor Avakov introduced to RA Parliament Speaker a number of proposals on cooperation in spheres of energy, agriculture and education. Parties agreed to continue discussions over proposals on expert level and thereafter coordinate projects within shortest terms.
