STEPANAKERT BEWILDERED BY OFFICIAL BAKU'S ATTEMPTS TO FALSIFY MODERN HISTORY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Nagorno Karabakh Republic Foreign Ministry has expressed bewilderment concerning Azerbaijan's striving for falsification of the modern history. Today it was reported to "Mediamax" agency by NKR Foreign Ministry press service while commenting on the recent statement of the head of Azeri Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vilayat Guliyev that "Baku will never accept the representatives of the so-called NKR as a party of negotiations." The service supposes Guliyev's statements are conditioned by the fact that "he never participated either in bilateral negotiations between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh, or negotiations under the aegis of OSCE Minsk Group held within 1992-1997, where NKR delegation took part." The press service reminds that beginning with 1993 the political and military leadership of Azerbaijan has repeatedly addressed letters to NKR leadership, expressing readiness to organize a bilateral meeting of NKR and Azerbaijan heads. NKR foreign department has proper documents signed by high rank leaders of Azerbaijan, including the acting President and the Minister of Defense of the Azerbaijani Republic. The Azeri colleagues should have also consulted the documents passed at the Budapest summit and Bishkek Resolution of 1994, ratified by the signatures of the Speakers of Azeri, Armenian and Nagorno Karabakh Parliaments, NKR Foreign Ministry press office noted.
