20 MEGAWATT WIND FARM TO BE BUILT IN ARMENIAFebruary 19, 2002 - 22:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Two European companies have expressed their readiness to participate in the building of the 15-20 megawatt wind farm in Zod region of Armenia. The initiator of the building of the wind farm is Armenian-American Company «Solaren». According to «Arminfo» agency, signing of agreements on the participation of the firms in the project is planned in March. It is not known yet what firms it is spoken about. At the present time the project analysis has been made in the region of Zod allotted for the building. According to the analysis, the natural conditions will allow to build 20-megawatt wind farm, for that $20 mln investments are needed.
