  Stepan Grigoryan: RA can sign a framework agreement with AzerbaijanDecember 16, 2009 - 16:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Analytical Center on Globalization and Regional Cooperation (ACGRC) jointly with German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) conducted the 2nd Security Forum of South Caucasus on December 11 in Tbilisi. "The forum covered a number of regional issues including Karabakh conflict settlement and Armenia-Turkey rapprochement," ACGRC chairman Stepan Grigoryan said. At that, he noted that Turkish experts expressed hope for progress in Karabakh conflict settlement in the context of Armenia-Turkey relations. "Everyone understands that Armenia can't make serious concessions in Karabakh issue. Yet, it can sign a framework agreement with Azerbaijan," Grigoryan said, adding that Karabakh should be engaged in the negotiation process.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
