PENTAGON REPRESENTATIVES TO ARRIVE IN YEREVAN TO DISCUSS ARMENIAN-AMERICAN MILITARY COOPERATION PROSPECTS IN DETAIL

PanARMENIAN.Net - Military cooperation between Armenia and U.S.A. should serve to strengthening Armenian security. A high-rank Pentagon representative said this in a telephone conversation with "Arminfo" correspondent. In his words, at the beginning of the year 2002 a special delegation consisting of American military experts will arrive in Yerevan from Washington to discuss the prospects of the bilateral cooperation in the military sphere. The source informed the delegation would be headed by an officer, who was commissioned to make decisions on behalf of Pentagon.
