RUSSIAN INSTITUTE OF CIS COUNTRIES DIRECTOR CONFIDENT KARABAKH PEOPLE WILL NOT CHANGE INDEPENDENCE FOR "CHIMERICAL IDEA" OF UNIFICATION WITH AZERBAIJAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Director of the Institute of CIS Countries Konstantin Zatulin, who is in Nagorno Karabakh, has met with NKR President Arkady Ghukasian. The state head discussed the course of the negotiations on Karabakh conflict settlement with the Russian political scientist. The interlocutors also concerned the prospects of developing Karabakh economy. Yesterday Konstantin Zatulin also met with Stepanakert journalists. He said it was necessary for Nagorno Karabakh to participate in the negotiations as an independent party. The political scientist expressed confidence that Nagorno Karabakh people will not change its independence for "the chimerical idea" of unification with Azerbaijan.
