51% OF POPULATION OF ARMENIA TRUST THE PRESIDENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - 51% of the population of Armenia trust country President Robert Kocharian. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, these are the results of a survey held by the Armenian sociological association among 1500 citizens in different parts of Armenia. The research was held owing to the financial support of the U.S. Agency for International Development. The rate of the population trust to the judicial system is the lowest. Only 26% of the survey participants trust it. 62% respondents consider there is no democracy in Armenia. Another 16% think democracy exists in Armenia but its scope is limited. 15% of the interviewees recognize there is democracy in Armenia.
