NONE OF HIGH-RANKERS OF ARMENIA HAS INTRODUCED TAX FORM YET

PanARMENIAN.Net - None of Armenian high-rankers has introduced tax form to corresponding services yet. The law on declaring of property and incomes of high-rankers has become valid since January 1, 2002. According to the law, state workers holding high posts must declare their incomes for last year until February 1. The tax return forms were confirmed last week and are already handed out. As «Arminfo» reports there are 3000 people in Armenia who the law applies. The President, government members, parliament deputies, deputy ministers, judges, community leaders are among them. The tax forms have to be also introduced by near relatives of high-rankers. Taking into consideration them, the tax forms have to be introduced by 10000-12000 people. 50 thousand-dram fines are stipulated for those who will introduce tax forms not in time. The law also stipulates the order of the information validity control, but that order has not been set up by the government yet. The information about the incomes and properties of high-rankers has to be proclaimed by mass media in the middle of the current year.
