EUROPEAN COUNCIL MISSION TO VISIT REGION TO MAKE READY FOR REPORT ON KARABAKH SETTLEMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - In January 2002 Karabakh problem will become a discussion topic of the European Council committee. At the committee session a reporter on the Karabakh settlement issue whose status will be equal to the Minsk group cochairman status will be chosen. In the spring 2002 the OSCE mission will visit Armenia, Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh. The mission members will study the situation to make ready for the report regarding the Karbakh settlement. Conclusions of the mission members will be used in the report. It is assumed that the report final version will be ready not earlier than in six months after the reporter is chosen.
