FINAL DECISION ON SECTION 907 WAIVER EXPECTED AT U.S. CONGRESSIONAL PANEL SESSION TODAY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Making the final decision on waiver of Section 907 of the Freedom Support Act, banning the U.S. Government to render direct aid to Azerbaijan in connection with blockade held against Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh, is expected today at the session of a Congressional panel. The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) called on all Armenians residing in U.S.A. to address a request to their congressmen to include an item in the bill, prohibiting Azerbaijan to use American military aid against Nagorno Karabakh. Let us remind that October 24 U.S. Senate passed a decision to suspend Section 907 of the Freedom Support Act until December 31, 2002.
