ARMENIA'S PRESIDENT IS SATISFIED WITH THE US SENATE RESOLUTION REGARDING SECTION 907

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's head Robert Kocharyan stated yesterday he was satisfied with the US Senate resolution authorizing the President to waive Section 907 of the Freedom Support Act. According to him, it is very important that it is not the question regarding the repeal, but just the possibility of temporal veto on Section 907. And there are a number of stipulated terms, on observance of which a resolution to lift the sanction temporarily might be passed. The President thinks that the Section 907 waiving will not affect the perspective of Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement and will not disturb the balance of forces between the conflict sides.
