ARFD parliamentary group refuses to meet with PACE president

PanARMENIAN.Net - ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group refrains from participation in the meeting between RA parliamentary groups and PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu, citing the latter’s refusal to visit Armenian Genocide Memorial.

“None of PACE presidents, regardless of their country’s recognition of Genocide, allowed themselves to behave in such a disrespectful manner,” ARFD said in a letter addressed to parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamyan. “Cavusoglu makes no secret of arriving in Yerevan in the capacity of Turkish politician, rather than PACE president. Under the circumstances, we find the meeting with him inappropriate.”

PACE Armenian parliamentary delegation member Armen Rustamyan also refused to attend the meeting of PACE Armenian parliamentary delegation with Cavusoglu, ARD Dashnaktsutyun press service reported.
