PHONE CONVERSATION OF PRESIDENTS OF ARMENIA AND RUMANIA TOOK PLACE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today the phone conversation between President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan and Rumania's President Ion Iliyesku took place. Iliyesku explained the reason of the delay of his official visit to Yerevan that should have taken place today. (As we have already informed the visit was delayed because of the beginning of the military operation in Afghanistan. Rumania is in the chair of the OSCE and the security of European countries is on its leader responsibility). Armenia's President said that the decision of Rumania's leader was understandable to Armenia's leadership. Today Robert Kocharyan received Romania's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Pavel Platona. The ambassador said that the visit dates would be determined after the stabilization of the international situation.
