RUSSIA'S VICE PRIME MINISTER WILL ARRIVE IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Vice Prime Minister of Russia's government Ilya Klebanov, who is also the cochairman of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental committee on economic cooperation, will arrive in Yerevan in order to continue the negotiations regarding the transfer of a part of shares of some Armenian enterprises to Russia for state debt repayment approximately October 13. According to President Robert Kocharyan, a considerable progress is achieved regarding the preparation process for the establishment of joint enterprises on the basis of some paralyzed enterprises. In this way, Armenia plans to have Russian investments, to have new work places and to ensure the revival of the country industrial potential. Among the enterprises, the shares of which might be transferred to Russian side are nuclear power plant, "Mars" factory, enterprises operating on the basis of the institute of mathematical machines.
