Besides, Arthur Ghazaryan from the ARF Dashnaktsutyun and representative of Sardarapat movement Zhirayr Sefilyan were invited to the party’s congress.

As a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported from the scene, Chairman of the party’s board Armen Martirosyan delivered a report.

According to Martirosyan, Heritage has always supported strengthening of democracy, as well as protection of human rights and state interests.

Besides, Martirosyan noted that Heritage stands for recognition of NKR’s independence, which is the only way for Karabakh conflict settlement.

“Heritage also seeks an unbiased investigation into the March 1, 2008, events and release of all political prisoners.

Approving the report, participants proceeded to nomination of candidates for party’s new board to be made up of 11 members. Head of the parliamentary group Stepan Safaryan automatically becomes the board member under the party’s charter, thus, voting will be held for the remaining 10 seats.
