THE CENTRAL ELECTION COMMITTEE OF NAGORNO-KARABAKH TOTALED THE ELECTION TO THE BODIES OF SELF-GÎVERNMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - The central election committee of Nagarno-Karabakh has totaled the election to the bodies of self-government of the republic held September 5. 53537 voters out of 86525, that is 61.9% of the electorate, participated in the election. 194 community leaders and 1363 member of the council of the elders were elected. Second elections will be held in some rural communities of NK. 13566 voters participated in the elections for mayor post. Amik Awanesyan, who had 52.3% of votes for 6 candidates, was elected the head of the city administration of NK.
