  Heritage calls on Armenian parliamentarians to vote for recognition of NKR independenceSeptember 14, 2010 - 19:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - For over 2 centuries, NKR has been a “hostage” to its independence, the head of Heritage parliamentary group Stepan Safaryan believes. “The Republic of Artsakh has all the necessary attributes of a state, yet up till now Armenia has failed to recognize its independence. Moreover, NKR was forced out of Karabakh issue negotiations through the efforts of Armenian authorities,” Safaryan stated at the sitting of Armenian National Assembly (RA NA). Condemning Armenian authorities’ argumentation on prematurity of Karabakh independence recognition, the head of Heritage parliamentary group called on RA NA members to vote for recognition of NKR independence   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
