RESEARCHES IN THE FIELD OF HIGH TECHNOLOGIES CONDUCTED IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - At the second session of the Council on promotion of information technology development, the results of researches conducted in Armenia by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) were presented. The data on information technologies will be published in the near future. The Council made a decision on creation of working groups, the program of activity of which will be presented at the next meeting. The working groups will be engaged in matters of "Initiative of Information Technologies of the Caucasus" regional conference and other actual problems of this sphere.

Let us remind that more than 38% of Armenian enterprises, working in the field of information technologies, are involved in producing software, and export of production of the sphere made 20 million dollars in 2000.
