THREE FOREIGN FIRMS HAVE STATED THEIR INTENTIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TENDER FOR "ARARATCEMENT" PRIVATIZATIONJuly 26, 2001 - 22:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - State close corporation "Araratcement" will be reorganized into public corporation and it will be gone private through tender. Minister for management of state assets David Vardanian has stated today at the press conference, that three foreign firms: Swiss "Holsim", Greek "TitanCement" and Lebanese "Cement", have already confirmed their interest in the acquisition of the company shares. The enterprise is valued at $8 million. The tender for its privatization will be announced in September.
