Shavarsh Kocharyan: NKR will become full party to negotiations

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said that NKR’s problem has always been in the focus of Armenia. Yerevan is guided only by the will of the people of NKR with respect to recognition of NKR’s independence by the international community, Kocharyan said in the National Assembly during a discussion of Heritage party’s bill on recognition of NKR’s independence by Armenia.

According to him, Armenia represents Nagorno Karabakh, as it has not become a full party to the negotiations on the conflict settlement yet. “However, it does not mean that Armenia completely substitutes Nagorno Karabakh in the negotiations. NKR will become a full party to the negotiations at some stage,” concluded Kocharyan.
