OSCE shares in concern over the deaths of Armenian servicemen on the line of contact

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 15, Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan met with the representatives of OSCE Yerevan office led by the Ambassador Sergey Kapinos.

At the meeting, the Minister thanked OSCE Yerevan office for methodical assistance offered. The Ambassador, in turn, briefed the Minister on a number of offers on reforms relating to military, political, educational and human rights sectors.

The parties expressed concern over increased instances of ceasefire violation on the line of contact. As Ohanyan noted, in view of Azerbaijan’s ignoring humanitarian norms and urges for cessation of fire, the Defense Ministry is induced to toughen measures towards neutralization of Azeri snipers. In conclusion, Kapinos promised to report the situation to OSCE authorities, ministerial press service reported.
