THE COURT EXAMINING THE "OCTOBER 27" CASE DID NOT BEGIN CONSIDERING THE INTERCESSION OF THE TEMPORARY DEPUTY COMMISSION

PanARMENIAN.Net - . At today's session judge Samvel Uzunian, who is the Chairman in the process on the case of the act of terrorism in the Parliament taken place on October 27, 1999, stated that he will not consider the intercession addressed by the temporary deputy commission. As it is known, the commission has suggested to discuss the issue of expediency of moving the accused from the investigatory isolator of the Ministry of National Security to the investigatory isolator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The judge motivated his denial to consider the intercession by the law requirements, which only admit consideration of intercession of the participants of the legal process. The temporary deputy commission does not represent such. The aggrieved party, the interests of which are being presented by attorney of law Ruben Sahakian, agreed with the judge's arguments. The prosecution, represented by military attorney deputy Armen Harutyunian, expressed agreement with the actions of judge Samvel Uzunian, too.
