  Swiss Ambassador to Armenia hands over his credentials to RA President  December 3, 2010 - 20:39 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - On December 3, newly appointed Ambassador of Switzerland to Armenia Günther Baechler handed over his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. Mr. Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassador and noted that “our country is interested in the development of relations with Switzerland, while an active dialogue established between the two countries recently can contribute to it.” The Armenian President expressed gratitude to the Swiss government for the provided assistance and recognition of the Armenian Genocide. Besides, the two men discussed regional problems. Baechler noted that Switzerland will continue contributing to establishment of peace in the region. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
