ARFD, RPA working out bill on bodyguards![]() February 4, 2011 - 17:20 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) parliamentary group will join Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) in working out a bill on bodyguards. As ARFD member Hrayr Karapetyan told a news conference in Yerevan, Dashnaktsutyun repeatedly came up with a suggestion to include the bill on parliamentary agenda, yet the discussion kept getting delayed. During the February 4 meeting of the standing committee on defense, national security and internal affairs, the discussion of a draft law was postponed yet another time. Karapetyan voiced agreement with Armenian President who stressed the necessity of adopting a law regulating bodyguards’ activities. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
