Democratic Party negotiates uniting with left forces, won’t form alliance with ANC![]() February 17, 2011 - 13:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA) is discussing the possibility of uniting with left hand forces at the next parliamentary election, DPA leader stated. At a news conference in Yerevan, Aram Sargsyan characterised unification of parties with similar ideologies as a normal occurrence, pointing out Armenian society’s need for left parties. Sargsyan refused to name political parties involved in discussions, however, stressing DPA’s determination to never form a union with Armenian National Congress (ANC). ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
