  Events in Middle East push Karabakh conflict to the backgroundFebruary 17, 2011 - 16:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Recent events in Tunisia, Egypt and Middle East will influence the course of Karabakh conflict settlement, according to European Integration NGO chairman. As Karen Bekaryan told a news conference in Yerevan, the South Sudan referendum, change of power in Egypt, riots in Yemen and Bahrain, tensions between Azerbaijan and Israel are background events, which, although indirectly, affect the logic of Karabakh process. “The events mentioned divert the attention of superpowers, pushing many issues, including Karabakh conflict, to the background,” Bekaryan said.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
