TENDER COMMISSION HASN'T YET RECEIVED CLAIMS FOR PRIVATIZATION OF ARMENIA'S DISTRIBUTIVE POWER NETWORKS

By this time, the tender commission hasn't received any claims for the privatization of the distributive power networks of Armenia from the companies, participating in the tender, Mediamax was informed today in the press service of the Energy Ministry.

Today, at 18:00 local time, the envelopes with the proposals of the companies, pretending to the purchase of the 4 distributive power networks of Armenia, are to be opened. The results of the tender will be announced on April 22nd, while the agreement on purchase and sale of shares must be concluded by April 29th.

After the refusal of the French Electricite de France and Swiss-Swedish ABB, 2 companies have remained as participants in the tender - the American AES Silk Road and the Spanish Union Fenosa. --0--
