ENERGY NETWORKS OF ARMENIA REMAIN AMONG UNITS TO BE PRIVITIZED

PanARMENIAN.Net - YEREVAN, April 3. /Mediamax/. The authors of the initiative of holding an extraordinary session of National Assembly were not able to gather the necessary votes for withdrawal of the 4 distributive energy networks from the list of units to be privatized.

45 deputies voted for the law on abolition of privatization of energy networks Monday evening. According to the Constitution, the law can be passed if minimum 66 deputies vote for it.

The tender committee is to name the winners of tender on privatization of Armenian energy networks on April 19. After the refusal of the French Electicite de France and the Swiss-Swedish ABB, 2 companies participate in the tender - the American AES Silk Road and Spanish Union Fenosa.--0--
