"PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA PREPARES A DISTRUCTIVE BARGAIN OF POWER NETWORKS' SALE", THE STATEMENT OF "FRONT OF NATIONAL CONSENT" SAYS

"President Kocharian, under the indirect leadership of whom the anti-state privatization of "ArmenTel" company and the Yerevan Brandy Factory was realized, now prepares another distructive bargain, selling Armenia's distributive power networks", the statement which was spread today by the "Front of national consent of Armenia" says.

The authors of the statement say that the process of privatization of the networks is "a state crime". All the participants of this bargain will inevitably answer for it in front of the people of the country, their statement notes.

The authors think that "putting the most important strategic systems for sale makes it impossible to provide the economic and national security of Armenia".

The "Front of national consent" also asserts that the buyer of the networks is predetermined - it will be the American AES Silk Road company. --0--
