NKR MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS CALLS ON PEOPLE TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS OF RETURNING ILLEGALLY KEPT WEAPON

The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has turned to the people, calling on them to speed up the process of voluntary returning of weapons and ammunition, illegally kept since the times of the Karabakh war.

As Mediamax was informed in the press service of NKR Ministry of Internal Affairs, 314 pieces of various types of fire-arms, 52 pieces of hunting rifles, 964 grenades, large amount of ammunition and explosive devices were withdrawn from and voluntarily turned in by the citizens of the republic in 2000.

The address to the public says that persons who will voluntarily return illegally kept weapons will be relieved from criminal responsibility. --0--
