Armenian, Georgian FMs discuss implementation of agreements![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 26, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze, who arrived in Yerevan on a working visit. At the meeting, the parties gave high assessment to Armenia-Georgia relations, stressing that the development of new cooperation directions is a proof of strong ties between the two countries. The meeting further focused on implementation of agreements reached, international and regional issues, Armenia-Georgia cooperation in the framework of international structures, the situation with the Armenian community in Georgia. The parties also stressed the necessity of a peaceful settlement of Karabakh issue. Nalbandyan and Vashadze emphasized the need to activate consultations between the foreign ministries, Armenian Foreign Ministry press service reported. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
