PanARMENIAN.Net - YEREVAN, February 17. /Mediamax/. Meeting of the presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and France will be held in Paris in early March, an informed source told Mediamax.

The source noted that the meeting will more likely be held between President Kocharian's visits to Kiev (1-2 March) and Vienna (6-7 March). It was expected earlier that the regular meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan would take place on the Armenian-Azeri border. However, the source noted, Jacques Chirac's participation in the talks "makes this process more effective".

In the course of the state visit to France on 12-16 February, the president of Armenia thanked Jacques Chirac for the "direct participation in the Karabakh peace process". Robert Kocharian also said that the last initiatives of the French president "inspire certain hopes".
