A BREAK ANNOUNCED IN THE TRIAL OF "MARCH 22" CASE FOR PREPARATION OF TEXT OF THE SENTENCE

On February 14, in the second half of the court session for the case of the terrorist act against NKR president, Chairman Suren Alexanian announced about the termination of pleadings and gave the accused the right of the final word, the correspondent of Mediamax informed from Stepanakert.

The accused of the organization of the terrorist act, Samvel Babayan particularly declared that he didn't order the terrorist act. At the same time, the accused admitted that he had some guilt though in the domestic political situation, formed in that period in the republic. Babayan asked the court to be indulgent and to give a lenient sentence as far as possible.

Sasun Aghajanian, who is accused of direct execution of the terrorist act, confessed in this action, but noted however that no one gave him an order to realize the crime. Another accused of direct execution of the attempt upon the life of NKR President, Levon Mirzoyan, as before, categorically denied his involvement in the terrorist act.

Fully or partially pleading guilty, the majority of the accused asked the court to be indulgent to them.

The judge announced a break for minimum 10 days to prepare the text of the sentence. -0-
