ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTER TO VISIT IRAN ON FEBRUARY 3-4January 24, 2001 - 20:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 24.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The Foreign Minister of Armenian Vardan Oskanian will leave for Iran for an official visit on February 3-4, Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.The decision to visit Iran was voiced at today's meeting of the Armenian Foreign Minister and the Iranian Minister for Finance and Economy Hussein Namazi, the co-chairman of the Armenian-Iranian intergovernmental coordination commission. Presenting the results of the commission's work to Minister Oskanian, Namazi attached much importance to the realization of the project of Iran-Armenia gas pipeline construction. Iranian Minister also mentioned great unexhausted potential in the Armenian-Iranian economic relations.
