INVESTMENT COUNCIL TO BE SET UP IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - 14.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. "By the order of the President of Armenia a Council for Investments will be set up in near future", Prime Minister Andranik Margarian stated, answering the questions of the "hot line" of Golos Armenii paper.

The head of the Armenian Government also said that the formation of an Economic Council or some other body to be responsible for working out programs for Armenia's economic development is also planned. "This is necessary for each consecutive government to continue the work of the preceding one, and not start everything from zero", Margarian noted. -0-
