NEW MINISTER FOR STATE INCOMES IS GOING TO TOUGHEN THE STRUGGLE AGAINST "SHADE" ECONOMY

PanARMENIAN.Net - 08.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Mr. Manukian said that it's necessary to form an equal tax field for all the taxpayers and to toughen the struggle against "shade economy". A. Manukian said that in his forerunner's estimation the "shade economy" in Armenia makes up 40 per cent.

Mr. Manukian stressed that the urgent task of the ministry today is to provide necessary tax revenue in November and December 2000, for which "corresponding resources are being searched out".
