RUSSIA WOULD LIKE TO CONSIDER VISIT OF AZERI FOREING MINISTER TO MOSCOW AS A BEGINING OF A NEW STAGE FOR STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

PanARMENIAN.Net - 16.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The Russian side would like to consider the visit of the Azeri Foreign Minister Vilayat Guliyev to Moscow as a beginning of a new stage for the development of strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Russia.

The Russian RIA Novosti news agency informs that the director of the 4th Department for CIS of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexey Borodavkin stated on Sunday that the Russian side attaches great political importance to the visit of the Azeri minister to Russia. Borodavkin also said that over the period of development of relations between the both states it is the first official visit of the Azeri Foreign Minister to Russia. The Director of the department stressed that a new stage is started for development of the dialog between Moscow and Baku.--0--
