CONTROL CHAMBER IS TO BE FORMED IN RNK

PanARMENIAN.Net - 20.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. At the first meeting of the first session of RNK National Assembly the bill "About RNK Parliament" was adopted in the first reading. The bill, aimed to broaden rights and authority of the parliament, is to be revised.

As the correspondent of MEDIAMAX was informed in the press service of RNK parliament, the bill, in particular, suggests forming a Control Chamber, as well as giving the National Assembly the right to express discontentment with separate government members, without their further discharge.

Karabakh MPs also amended the law "About the privatization of RNK state and public housing resources", according to which the functions of available housing privatization are passed from regional administrations to communes.

At the session the law "About telecommunications" was adopted in the first reading, which is to be revised. A heated discussion started on the matter of giving the right for privatization of telecommunication units to foreign private persons. -0-
