NIKOLAI KOLESNIKOV, WHO RECEIVED TREATMENT FOR AIDS IN ARMENIA, DENIES REPORTS ABOUT HIS DEATH

On September 8 several Russian mass media, RIA-NOVOSTI agency in particular, reported that Nikolai Kolesnikov, who has received treatment for AIDS in "Armenikum" center in Armenia within the framework of the action of "Komsomolskaya pravda" paper, has died in one of Kaliningrad hospitals. The leading Armenian papers published this as top news today.

But Kolesnikov himself denied the reports about his death. Today in the interview to "Komsomolskaya pravda" he declared that he is even not going to bring an action against "Kaliningradskaya pravda" paper, which was the first to report about Kolesnikov's "death". "Trials will start, and I'll have to be present there to prove I'm alive, while me and my wife have barely settled everything. My only wish is to have the paper apologize to us", said Kolesnikov.

He also said that he is going to come to Armenia in October to take a regular treatment course of "Armenikum".-0-
