  Iran FM stresses adherence to strengthening ties with Armenia  November 8, 2011 - 17:38 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, currently on a working visit to Yerevan. At the meeting, the President praised the high level of Armenia-Iran relations and economic cooperation, specifically noting the increasing number of joint programs. The FM, in turn, stressed Iran’s adherence to strengthening ties with Armenia. Oncoming visit of Iranian President, cooperation in energy and transport sector were on discussion agenda, presidential press service reported. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
