NEW HEAD OF AKHALKALAKI REGION OF GEORGIA APPOINTED

PanARMENIAN.Net - By the decree of acting Georgian President Nino Burdzhanadze, Artur Yeremian has been appointed the new administration chairman of Georgia's Akhalkalaki region for most part inhabited by Armenians. Earlier, as reported by A-info agency, he was the head of the Kartikami village administration. According to the source, former administration head of the Akhalkalaki region Artyush Hamrartsumian sent in his resignation under the pressure of the conflicting circles and Georgia's new powers.
