ARMENIA - CIS LEADER ON RATE OF GROSS DOMESTIC AND INDUSTRIAL PRODUCT GROWTH

PanARMENIAN.Net - Within the 10 months of the current year on the rate of the gross domestic product (GDP) growth Armenia is the first among the CIS countries with the indicator of 15.7%. According to the data of the CIS Statistical Committee, GDP high rate growth is also registered in Azerbaijan - 10.8% and Tajikistan - 10.6%. Armenia is also the CIS leader on the indicators of industrial production growth within January-October, 2003. As compared with the same period last year, the indicator of Armenia has increased 19.1%, that of Georgia - 10.4%, and the Azerbaijani one - 5.6%.
