SENTENCE ON CASE OF ACT OF TERRORISM IN ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT TO BE ANNOUNCED DECEMBER 2

PanARMENIAN.Net - The judicial sentence on the case of the act of terrorism, committed in the Armenian parliament October 27, 1999, will be announced December 2. The Yerevan court, that since 2001 has been holding the trial on the case with time to time interruptions, told "Arminfo" agency. It should be reminded that court hearings were finished November 14. The state prosecution has proposed life imprisonment regarding five malefactors - Nairi and Karen Hunanians, their uncle Vram Galstian, as well as Eduard Grigorian and Derenik Bejanian. Two other accomplices of the crime - Ashot Knyazian and Hamlet Stepanian - were demanded to be sentenced to 15 and 14 years of imprisonment respectively. It should be reminded that October 27, 1999 five terrorists rushed into the Armenian parliament hall, killing speaker Karen Demirchian, prime minister Vazgen Sargsian, two vice-speakers, minister for operational issues and three deputies.
