Armenia-EU relations depend on holding transparent elections

PanARMENIAN.Net - European Union will allocate euro 1,7 mln. to OSCE for implementation of EU mission in Armenia-OSCE joint project that will extend assistance for holding fair and transparent elections.

“The project aims to boost civil society role in election process, organization of trainings and seminars, as well as raising awareness among voters,” head of the EU Delegation in Armenia Traian Hristea stated.

In this context, Mr. Hristea noted that “development of Armenia-EU relations particularly in the framework of the Eastern Partnership depends on holding transparent elections.”
