ARMENIAN PAINTER WORKS APPRECIATED IN LAS VEGASOctober 23, 2003 - 22:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Three works of Armenian photographer Rafael Hambartsumian were appreciated at a photo exhibition in Las Vegas. The author was awarded "Certificate of Merits" for photographs "After Operation" (81 points), portraits of actor Gurgen Janibekian and sculptor Yervand Kochar (80 points each). R. Hambartsumian's works have successfully been exhibited in New York, Pasadena and Washington before. Among the works that were highly evaluated are "Monument to the Armenian Genocide," "Aram Khachaturian" and others. It should be noted that R.
