ARKADY GHUKASIAN ONE OF CENTRAL FIGURES OF REGION, EU SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE SAID

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh leader Arkady Ghukasian is one of the central figures of the region, EU special representative for the South Caucasus Heikki Talvitie said in Yerevan, when addressing a press conference drawing the results of his visit to Armenia last evening. "I know Arkady Ghukasian since 1995, when I was co-chairing the OSCE Minsk conference over the Nagorno Karabakh issue, and he was the key negotiator representing the Nagorno Karabakh party," H. Talvitie noted. The EU special representative for the South Caucasus added that in the performance of his duty he considers it necessary to meet with the NKR leader. It should be reminded that a meeting between Heikki Talvitie and Arkady Ghukasian was held in Yerevan yesterday.
