UNITED COMMUNIST PARTY FORMED IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Three leftist Armenian political forces, these being the Renewed Communist party, Union of Communists and the Party of Intellectuals-Communists unified into the United Communist Party (UCP). In the words of the UCP representatives, a group of co-chairman will become the governing body of the newly founded party. They explain the creation of such a political league by the necessity of mobilizing all the pro-communist forces for the struggle for socialism". To note, the traditional Communist Party did not join the alliance.
